10th Annual AAML Family Law Trial Basics Seminar
The Southern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers will present its popular free annual Trial Basics Seminar via Zoom in April 2026. TBS is geared toward Family Law lawyers with limited trial experience wanting to learn basic trial skills from the AAML’s experts. Attendees will learn, among other skills, opening statements, direct examinations, cross examinations, presentation of documentary and electronic evidence, expert witness considerations, closing arguments, and pitfalls/how to avoid them. TBS is presented as a two-part program: (1) The “main event” all-day seminar on Zoom, followed by (2) A full day “live” Practicum where attendees can practice their skills.
As always, family law guru, Garrett Dailey, will moderate the “main event” all day seminar.
CLE credits will be provided.
